Festival In A Van with Rhythm Africana

A mobile live arts event, Festival in a Van will bring live performance to the heart of Portumna during this year's festival. Various performers will use the van at different times and at different locations around Portumna during Thursday and Friday.

Portumna Castle Harbour @ 4pm on Friday, 16 September
Festival in a Van bring a variety of African traditional songs with musicians from Uganda, Congo, Nigeria and Ireland. This high energy band, led by Justine Nantale, is not to be missed.

Supported by Creative Ireland, and led by a team of theatre professionals, Festival in a Van is keeping live performance going and on the move.
