Quarter Jazz
Quarter Jazz is a recently formed band of musicians who share a love of jazz. Catherine Patience, vocalist, is reviving an early interest in jazz and was introduced to Lucy Thomas on clarinet and Yam Aquino on drums when they recently moved to Whitegate, all the way from Shanghai, where they made and taught music for almost fourteen years. It wasn’t long before these three were joined by Tom Fahy from Loughrea who plays guitar and regularly performs in local pubs. And last but certainly not least Rory Maloney on keyboard. Rory has recently graduated from Cork School of Music and is in great demand as a teacher and performer.
