Makeup X Art by James Mac is a special photography showcase, comprising of 20 looks which promises a unique exploration of the intersection between makeup and art. James Mac uses makeup as a medium to express artistry and tell stories, demonstrating its potential beyond traditional beauty applications. The exhibition touches on themes of identity, personal journey, and the LGBTQIA+ community, as it also pays homage to James’ family and friends. James MacInerney is an internationally-acclaimed Professional Makeup Artist, most recognised for being a finalist on the Netflix and BBC series Glow Up season 2 and guest judge for RTÉ’s Glow Up Ireland. James is a graduate of Dublin City University, with a BSc in Multimedia studies – James’ major was in photography and visual communications, which led itself into his current work.

Some of Paul’s amazing headpieces will be on display alongside this exhibition. |
