A Duke Special show is always a unique experience and like his stage name, is special. As a performer, vocalist, pianist and composer, the raw magic he will bring to the Shorelines stage is not to be missed. He will be joined by Ben Castle (saxophone, clarinet and fute).
Duke (aka Belfast’s Peter Wilson) has released 14 albums and EPs, toured all over the world and is involved in a diverse array of projects. He is currently working on what will be his seventh theatre piece, a musical adaptation of The Velveteen Rabbit for Replay Theatre Company, Belfast (2025). His latest album, Blood for Ghosts, released on vinyl and as a book in November 2023, features new versions of songs discovered in the Princess Grace Irish Library, Monaco – songs that may have been forgotten or lost through time. |
