Distillation with Luke Casserly
A multi-sensory performance that transports audiences directly to the Irish bog landscape through scent. Following sold-out performances across Ireland, the US, and Canada, Distillation—part performance, part lecture—is an intimate, immersive journey limited to just 25 audience members per show.
Created by Luke Casserly in direct response to the cessation of Ireland’s peat harvesting industry, Distillation is dedicated to the future of our broken landscapes—in the hope that by listening to them, we might be able to better understand them. Luke collaborated with renowned perfumer Joan Woods (Waters + Wild Organic Perfumery) to create a unique essence of the bog where he grew up, offering a deeply personal olfactory encounter exploring our relationship to place.
