The Short Story with Geraldine Mills

Richard Ford extols the short story for its brevity and its bravura. In this workshop we will explore the alchemy needed to achieve this. We will discuss its important elements, choosing the right point of view, beginnings and endings, dialogue. Pen and paper or laptop are needed, as writing exercises included.

Geraldine Mills is an award-winning poet and short story writer published nationally and internationally. She is the author of several books of poetry, short stories and children’s novels and a recipient of many awards.
