A Trio of Wordsmiths with Jane Clarke, Rachel Hegarty and Vincent Woods

Jane Clarke is the acclaimed author of two poetry collections, The River and When the Tree Falls (Bloodaxe), and a chapbook, All the Way Home, (Smith|Doorstop).

​Originally from a farm in Roscommon, Jane lives in Glenmalure where she works as a creative writing tutor and mentor.

Vincent Woods is a writer and broadcaster. His plays include At the Black Pig’s Dyke and poetry collections include The Colour of Language.

Co-editor of Fermata: Writings Inspired by Music, his plays for radio include The Gospels of Aughamore.

​
Vincent is Director of the Iron Mountain Literature Festival in Leitrim and is a member of Aosdána.

Dr. Rachael Hegarty’s debut, Flight Paths Over Finglas (Salmon) won the Shine Strong Award in 2018.

Her 
May Day 1974 and Dancing with Memory earned national and international acclaim.

​Her next collection, 
Wild Flowers Made Me will be launched in 2023.
