WALKING ON RIPPLES WITH DAVID MURPHY

David Murphy began writing Walking on Ripples by compiling an article on fish caught abroad – in Spain, Portugal, the Canaries, Florida and Mauritius. He enjoyed writing this so much that he decided to write about angling in his favourite Irish location: Donegal.
Walking on Ripples is that rare creature: a daring blend of fact and award-winning invention, a hybrid rarely seen and seldom caught. A charming, very attractive, and highly unusual book popular with readers of fiction and fans of fishing – and what family does not know at least one angler. A morning treat for fishing fans and refreshments provided too.
David Murphy has published six previous books. He was born in Cork but has lived north of Dublin for many years. This is his first work featuring non-fiction.
